About the event

Welcome from the Panhandle Farm Corridor, a network of vibrant local farms in North Idaho. Interact with your local farmers and ranchers during the height of their season and taste the difference of locally grown!

Farm Tour Schedule:

9:30 a.m. Meet at the Bonners Ferry Getaway Visitors Center

We begin our day with a warm welcome from the Panhandle Farm Corridor and an overview of the non-profit’s commitment to serving local producers and our community.

10:00 a.m. Cushman Family Farm

Our second stop at Cushman Family Farm offers hands-on experience at a diversified multi-generational ranch. The Cushman’s high-quality direct-to-consumer beef, lamb, and forage are a testament to their careful attention to animal husbandry techniques and feeding practices, utilizing local non-GMO barley and fermented forage.

12:00 p.m. BeeHaven Flower Farm (& Farm-to-Table Lunch)

Our third stop is at the stunningly beautiful BeeHaven Flower Farm. Witness how a personal passion for flower growing merged into an oasis with over 150 varieties of flowers, providing local cuts for weddings, special events, and more. Paula’s Podcast, Learn Cut Flower Growing, demonstrates her dedication to sharing knowledge and helping other aspiring growers. A very special farm-to-table lunch will be hosted on the farm.

2:00 p.m. Homestead Produce

Our final stop will be at Homestead Produce, a fourth-generation historic Bonners Ferry farm. Learn more about this family-run pasture poultry operation and Jordan and Kayla’s commitment to helping other area farms and ranches through its centralized farm stand. Following the tour, peruse the well-stocked shop, which features an array of farm products and value-added items from area producers.

3:00 p.m. Return to launch point
